Master of Science in Physics (MSc Physics)
Welcome to the MSc Physics programme offered by our department! We
are proud to announce that our Physics department has been upgraded as a PG
Department with the introduction of the MSc Physics course in the academic year
2018-19. This two-year course is divided into four semesters and aims to
provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the core concepts in
Physics.
In addition to the core papers, we offer Materials Science and
Modern Optics as elective papers, allowing students to specialize in specific
areas of interest. We have established advanced experimental setups and
computational physics facilities in our MSc Physics labs to facilitate the
practical learning experience of our students.
The department also provides opportunities for both experimental
and theoretical projects, guided by our experienced faculty members. Our faculty
members specialize in various fields such as Materials Science, Quantum Optics,
Quantum Information, Nonlinear Dynamics, and Nuclear Physics, providing our
students with a diverse range of research areas to choose from.
Our MSc Physics programme is designed to equip students with
analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing them for a
successful career in research, academia, or industry. Join us to explore the
fascinating world of Physics and unlock your potential to contribute to
cutting-edge research in the field.
