The department of Sanskrit started functioning as subsidiary subject to Malayalam B A Degree Course. With effect from 2008-09 Academic Year, Sanskrit is also taught as Second Language to all UG courses. The Sanskrit is taught as Common Course to the BA, BSc., B Com Programmes and as Complementary Course for BA Malayalam.
